Writing Workshops
Summer and Articling Students
Workshops for articling and summer students
build on the core principles of legal writing, and
focus on the differences between writing in
school and writing at work. We focus on writing
techniques that instil confidence in the reader.
The workshop format can include a combination
of:
• Lecture/discussion of materials
• Table discussions of samples, with review of
revised samples
• Revision exercises
• Identifying and addressing writing problems.
These workshops will include a professional responsibility component.
